View MoreThe owners had recently purchase this house and were looking for a new, updated design for the existing master suite. In addition, their biggest ask was to add a new guest powder room (within the existing space), because first floor guests currently had to use the master bathroom. Initially, no one thought this would be possible.
However, after looking a multiple new design options, TBT Design Services was able to come up with a design that both added the new powder room (with adequate room to maneuver), and was also able to provide a new vanity with two sinks, a full sized glass shower (with built-in bench), and a walk-in closet, without taking any space from the existing master bedroom. All this was accomplished at a very reasonable cost.
Existing house had an awkward master suite design. The master bathroom was the only bathroom on the first floor and had to be used by guests. Single sink in the master bath, with a small, confined shower area.
The new design provided a separate powder room for first floor guests, and a sleek, updated bathroom with two sinks, glass shower and an adjacent walk-in closet, while preserving the full existing area in the current master bedroom.
The existing master bedroom was decorated to match the elegance and decor of the new master bathroom.
New bathroom included two new sinks, additional storage, new window, new spacious glass shower (with built-in bench) and a full walk-in closet. The big gain was the new guest powder room, providing full privacy for the master bathroom.
