View MoreThis was a classic ranch-style home in Oak Forest built in the 1950’s. It was a 1,200 SF, 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom, on a 60’ x 110’ lot. The house had limited curb appeal.
TBT Design Services provided the owners multiple options including a full tear down, a two-story addition, and a single-story expansion. The owners ultimately decided on the single-story addition of 1,200 SF, which still left a 35’x 60’ open back yard. The house will soon boast 4 bedrooms, a full study, 3 full bathrooms, open-concept living/dining/kitchen areas, and a screened back porch with an outdoor kitchen. The house was completely gutted with new electricity and plumbing, and all new flooring. The ceilings were raised to 9’ throughout the house and the exterior front elevation was completely upgraded for great new curb appeal. A remarkable transformation of this Oak Forest Classic.

Although the house is still under construction, the beginning of the full transformation is easily becoming evident—clean, neat and great curb appeal.
